bus ride from nyc to boston provided time for a much needed nap. right off the bus onto the T, into the heart of harvard yard to meet up with my bff kelly and her roomie janie. early morning run in the drizzle in super cute cambridge, getting to know my potential future town on foot. lunch with emma, a former maryland mock star, to pump for deets on HLS. then three days of tours, classes, workshops, and introductions. thank goodness for kim, thank goodness for our friendship to make things fly by. nightly ice cream runs to jp lick’s before hours of girl talk. feeling like i could belong there. falling a little in love with the hum of campus life and the sheer diversity of those around me.
