my last home maryland basketball game as a student, and we win in the last minute. sitting with old friends and making new ones, can’t ask for much more :)
knocked the maryland-duke basketball game off my senior year bucket list, 3rd row seats.
the girls, at me and meghan’s last home football game as undergrads
(and the terps lose in slow, painful fashion to uva. of course.)
waking up when it’s still pitch black outside and pouring rain makes a person real excited to start the day. especially when it involves commuting for an hour to dc and being perky for an interview.
but after the interview (and amidst the downpour), brunch with lyndsay at bread & chocolate was worth the wait:

(cinnamon challah french toast with maple syrup and bavarian cream… sigh.)
then watching the bc football game with meghan, but out of the rain/sleet/snow (who knew it snowed in october?/), thanks to a super sweet office manager:

(there was literally nobody in the stands)
and then rounding off the night with impromptu fresh baked cookies and an action movie with john:

… i fell asleep twice, but thor still succeeded my expectations. not sure what that says about the movie.
good food, good friends. hard to ask for more on a cold, rainy day.
